Common Uses
Somadril is skeletal muscle relaxant which is used to treat certain muscle pain. It acts on brain and spinal cord to relax muscles. It has a strong formula to relief from painful muscle strains and spasms. For better results Somadril should be used with physical therapy.

How to Take
Before you start taking any new medicine, please consult a doctor. The usual dosage of Somadril is one 350 mg tablet, taken 3 times daily.

Warning and Precautions
Somadril sometimes causes lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting, vision changes. Please avoid operating a potentially unsafe tasks or mechanisms such as driving a car until you know your reaction to it. The effect may be worse if you take alcohol or certain medicines such as sleep aids or other muscle relaxants. Use Somadril with caution. Warn your doctor or dentist that you are taking Somadril before receiving medical help. Before you start taking any new medicine, even prescribed without RX or based on herbal components, check with your doctor. Do not take longer than 3 weeks.

Important
Somadril should not be used while pregnant. If you are pregnant, stop taking Somadril. If you are planning to become pregnant, make sure your doctor knows that you are taking Somadril. It also appears in breast milk and could affect a nursing infant.

Missed Dose
If your doctor gave you strict instructions not to miss dose and if you missed one, take the missed dose as soon as you have remembered. If it is time for your next dose, skip it and continue taking your medicine regularly. Do not double the medicine. It can cause severe side effects.

Overdose
Almost any medicine taken in excess doses without consultation with your doctor can cause an overdose. Symptoms of an overdose may include coma, shock, stupor, lightheadedness or dizziness, very fast heart rate. If you suspect an overdose, contact your emergency room immediately.

Storage
Somadril should be stored at room temperature in a container it comes in. Protect it from heat, sun light and moisture. Do not store Somadril in the bathroom. Keep it away from pets and children.

Possible Side Effects
Any of the medicine can cause side effects. If the side effects occur, seek medical attention or consult your doctor. Anyway, such common side effects may bother you: depression, agitation, dizziness, drowsiness, facial flushing, fainting, headache, hiccups, inability to fall or stay asleep, irritability, light-headedness upon standing up, loss of coordination, nausea, rapid heart rate, stomach upset, tremors, vertigo, vomiting. Seek medical attention if any of these side effects occur: chest pain, allergic reactions, difficulty swallowing or breathing, fainting, irregular or slow heartbeat, shortness of breath, unusual stomach pain.
